“I wanted AVADE® training because I read Dave’s book, and I recognized that here, FINALLY, was someone who was teaching true violence prevention–how to recognize an emergent situation or a potentially dangerous person, and defuse things before anyone gets hurt. I’ve been a martial artist for almost 30 years, an instructor for 20, and the AVADE® principles have become an integral part of my classes. Also, as a business owner, I am all too aware that violence can erupt anywhere. As careful as I am about hiring, I cannot always protect my business–my employees or customers–from a random, violent person. The AVADE® principles are words to live by–for everyone.” ~ Ted Greenblott, 2nd-degree Black Belt and owner of Black Bear Martial Arts and Bonner County Landscaping
