Dave Fowleris the founder and president of (PSTI) Personal Safety Training Incorporated located in Coeur d’ Alene, ID. He is responsible for the overall management and operations of PSTI, which offers seminars, training, consulting, and protective details. Since 1990, Dave has been involved security operations, training, and protective details.
He is the author of the SOCS® (Security Oriented Customer Service) program and training manual as well as the AVADE™ (Personal Safety Training) program and training manual. He is also the author of book “Be Safe Not Sorry” - the art and science of keeping YOU and your family safe from crime and violence. Dave has worked with thousands of individuals and hundreds of agencies and corporations throughout the United Stated and Canada. His presentations have included international, national and local seminars. Dave’s thorough understanding of safety and security, martial science and eastern philosophy add an exciting and interesting approach to his style of presentation.
Dave is a certified master instructor in several nationally recognized training programs such as Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB®), Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol Training (OCAT®) and Practical and Tactical Handcuffing (PATH®). He is also a national instructor trainer for the Monadnock® programs: MEB, PR-24 and the Defensive Tactics System. Dave has certified and trained thousand of individuals in these programs and others throughout the United states and abroad.
He is a Graduate of (ESI) Executive Security International’s advanced Executive Protection Program and the Protective Intelligence and Investigations program. A member of ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security), The International Law Enforcement Educators & Trainers Association (ILEETA) and the International Association of Healthcare Safety & Security (IAHSS).
Dave brings insight, experience, and a passion for empowering people and organizations utilizing the training programs and protective services that he offers here in the United States and in other countries. He is considered by many to be the most dynamic and motivational speaker and trainer in the security and personal safety industry.
