What is SAM
SAM is an in-depth course that teaches individuals how to recognize, reduce, and manage violent and aggressive behavior. SAM is probably unlike any other course you’ve taken in the past. The material is interesting and extensive. You can immediately apply this material to all areas of you life.
Course Objectives
- Learn to be proactive about personal safety to minimize the risk of being a victim.
- Learn, practice and master skills to use when threatened.
- Learn how to manage fear and anxiety during stressful situations.

Violence in our schools is a modern reality that needs to be addressed. SAM’s comprehensive course curriculum stresses preparedness and prevention on the part of the students and school personnel.
SAM™ Training Sessions are conducted On-Site at your location.
Training sessions are modeled into six categories: Session I, Session II, Session I & II, Session I Refresher, Session II Refresher and Session I & II Refresher.
SAM Training Session I – School Anger Management Course 
– Session one of the course is a large group 2.5-hour presentation which includes an overview of school violence, mental conditioning, verbal & non-verbal communications, empathic listening, managing verbal and physical aggression, and dealing effectively with feelings of anxiety, fear and stress. Class size is unlimited.
Cost: One course – 995.00 + expenses
Cost: Two courses in one day – 1,795.00 + expenses
Cost: Three courses in one day – 2,795.00 + expenses
SAM Training Session II – School Anger Management Course – Session two is a smaller group 2-hour presentation which includes strategies for managing physical confrontations, diversions and escape techniques, and principles of personal defense. Session I is a prerequisite to attending session II.
Class size if limited to 24.
Cost: One course – 995.00 + expenses
Cost: Two courses in one day – 1,795.00 + expenses
Cost: Three courses in one day – 2,795.00 + expenses
SAM Training Session I & II – School Anger Management Course – This session combines all the strategies, techniques and skills from both session one and two. This 4-hour presentation is a dynamic course that can immediately prepare staff for conflict. Class size is unlimited for session I and limited to 24 for session II.
Cost: One course – 1,795.00 + expenses
Cost: Two courses in one day – 2,795.00 + expenses
SAM Refresher Training Session I – In this 1-hour presentation topics from session I are reviewed. Annual refresher training is recommended. The first rule in education is repetition.
Cost: Two courses – 995.00 + expenses
Cost: Four courses in one day – 1,795.00 + expenses
Cost: Six courses in one day – 2,795.00 + expenses
SAM Refresher Training Session II
- In this 1-hour presentation topics from session II are reviewed. Annual refresher training is recommended. The first rule in education is repetition.

About SAM™ – School Anger Management
