Personal Safety Training Inc.’s Security Officer Self-Defense (SOS™) is a self-defense training program designed for individuals involved in: Security, Healthcare Security, Casino Security, Loss Prevention and Corporate Security.
The focus of this system is to teach security officers how to reasonably defend themselves or others against bodily harm from the attack of an aggressor, when they believe that they or others are in danger.

This training system combines interactive lecture/discussion, demonstration, skills performance of techniques, multiple repetition practice, and written & skills testing.
The SOS™ - Security Officer Self-Defense is a fundamental-based system that can be utilized in a variety of situations and environments.
Instructor or Basic Certification Courses
The Basic Course and Instructor Courses consist of a 4hr basic level course and a 1 day Instructor Course.
Instructor Certifications
- Instructor Certification is valid for three years.
- Training fee includes Instructor course manual, Cd’s and Certificate.
- The Instructor course is conducted (on-site training) at your agency.
- Instructor Certification entitles you to train, certify, and re-certify others in the course.
- Issuance of basic course manuals and basic course certificates for purchase (by certified instructors only).
- Supplemental mailings to notify instructors of updates in training methods, training aids, training seminars and other related courses.
Basic Course Certification
- Basic Course Certification is valid for two years.
- Training fee includes Basic course manual and Certificate.
- The Basic course is conducted (on-site training) at your agency.
